My Story
Photography and music have been in my life as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until I started shooting and DJing weddings back in 2015 that the two finally collided into something that felt like a calling. There’s nothing quite like being trusted with someone’s biggest day — every person they love most all in one room, every emotion right there on the surface. Ten years and hundreds of weddings later, I’ve come to realize I’m not just taking photos or playing music. I’m helping people preserve a legacy. The way a father looks at his daughter before walking her down the aisle. The song that finally pulls grandma onto the dance floor. The quiet five seconds right before the first kiss. Those are the moments I live for, and they’re the reason Legacy Storytelling exists. My goal isn’t to deliver pretty pictures or a packed dance floor — though I promise you’ll get both. It’s to make sure that twenty, thirty, fifty years from now, you can sit down with the photos, hear that song come on, and feel the day all over again. That’s the legacy part. Everything else is just craft.
Meet Cody - Co-Owner, Managing Partner & DJ
Cody is the operational heart of Legacy Storytelling — the person making sure every wedding, every session, and every event runs like it should. As Managing Partner, he oversees day-to-day operations and client experience, and behind the DJ booth he's the one reading the room, sensing the shift, and dropping exactly the right song at exactly the right moment. From the first dance to the last call, his custom playlists and seamless transitions keep guests on the floor and the night moving forward. Whether it's a wedding reception, a corporate event, or a private party, Cody brings the kind of presence, timing, and calm-under-pressure leadership that turns a good night into a story people tell for years.

Our cinematographer and visual storyteller. Drew sees weddings the way a filmmaker sees a story — every glance, every quiet pause, every laugh that catches you off guard is a moment worth holding onto. With a thoughtful eye for detail and a gift for weaving small moments into a larger narrative, Drew crafts wedding films that don’t just document the day, they make you feel it all over again.
